Students will enjoy many year-end outdoor activities and field days. Please remind your child to wear appropriate footwear, hats and sunscreen. Insect repellant may be used with staff supervision to protect from vector-borne diseases such as Eastern Equine Encelphalitis (EEE ) carried by mosquitoes and Lyme disease carried by deer ticks. Daily tick inspections are recommended especially after outdoor acitivities. Information on ticks, EEE, and insect repellents is available at school or the Maine CDC website.
Students with food allergies, bee sting allergies, or asthma should have a current epipen or inhaler available for emergency use. Please sign in all medications at the school office.
